Coriander is a member of the parsley family. While the leaves are referred to as cilantro or Chinese parsley, the seeds are used as seasoning and is available ground or whole. The whole coriander seed is frequently used in Hispanic, Asian, and some European cooking, but when ground coriander it is used with meat, especially in boerewors.
