Viking salt is perhaps one of the only culinary legacies passed down by these valiant warriors and this original recipe, which had fallen into obscurity, was recently rediscovered.
This salt, with its delicate smokey aroma, is currently found on the best tables in northern Europe and is used in many traditional Norwegian dishes. It has an intense, smoky aroma reminiscent of the forests of the Great North and of sea spray. Both strong and delicate, it goes well with potatoes, hard-boiled eggs and, of course, salmon.
