All the grapes came from a block on our farm, Klein Welmoed in Stellenbosch. All the vineyards are trellised. All grapes are harvested by hand in individual bins in optimal conditions to ensure true quality from beginning to end. In the Cellar, they were whole bunch pressed and the resulting wine was naturally fermented in French oak
barrels of which 28% was new wood. The wine spent 9 months in the barrel before bottling. 100% of the wine was fermented and aged in barrels.
